The Groundskeeper brings life to the
Ritz Carlton Hotel in Tucson

Ritz Carlton – Tucson

No job or tree is too big for The Groundskeeper Construction Division in Tucson. “The Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain was a terrific test of our commercial construction abilities.” said Paul Mueller, Construction Manager for The Groundskeeper. The project required The Groundskeeper to complete a tremendous amount of work in a relatively short period of time in order to help their client, T.L. Roof and Associates, with meeting their own schedule commitments.  At the same time, The Groundskeeper helped with the final design of the landscape as they worked around plant availability issues and constant changes to the scope and layout of the project as required by the Ritz Carlton team.  The 55 person crew worked up to 14 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure the highest quality work all within the time given.  “Our lead foreperson for the project, Donna Fisher, and her supervisor, Production Manager Jim Tucker, did an absolutely stellar job of meeting both schedule and expectations throughout.” said Mueller.

WINTER SEASON TIPS

Trees and Shrubs

Cut back on your tree irrigation during the cold winter months to allow soil to drain and dry out between waterings. Established non-desert adapted trees only require deep irrigation every 4 to 6 weeks, while established desert adapted trees may not need irrigation at all if there is occasional rain during the winter season.
